About The Event
Pamela Burditt is a Maya Abdominal Practitioner currently living and practicing her art in the rain forests of Costa Rica. She is returning to her home state of Minnesota for a few short weeks to share her medicine.
For women, the pelvic floor is also referred to as the Yoni. Yoni is Sanskrit and means the divine passage or the source of life. Through both the uterus and vagina, Yoni transcends the anatomical and is a temple where the divine female essence can be honored. The Yoni is both magical and erotic, a space of wisdom, creation, and healing.
Healers around the world offer Yoni steams as an opportunity to reconnect a women’s body to the wisdom of plant medicine. For millennia, women have shared this knowledge with each other, inspiring one another to connect with, love, and heal their bodies.
It is a wellness practice in which a woman allows the warmth of the steam to permeate the exterior of her vagina. As our vaginal tissues are one of the most absorbent in our bodies, Yoni steams can be very supportive to women’s health!
Specific herbs are chosen to increase the healing benefits of the steam. Herbs are usually chosen to stimulate circulation to the pelvis, cleanse, tone, nourish, or heal the tissues. Imagine a steam of rose petals or lavender seeping through your tissues. Feel the healing magic of fresh herbs and flowers cleansing your sacred temple.
Men also benefit from pelvic floor steams.
Dark blood at the beginning or end of menses
Postpartum, post miscarriage, or post DNC
Pelvic pain or tension
Fibroids, Ovarian Cysts, PCOS
Fertility challenges & Conception preparation
